Use An Unlocked Nokia E Series With My At&T Sim Card

Subscriber identity modules, better known as SIM cards, enable users to store contact information and other information on a small, portable card that can be easily swapped between phones. While SIM cards are helpful to users who frequently switch mobile phones, not all phone manufacturers and mobile phone networks take advantage of the GSM technology required to use SIM cards. Fortunately, Nokia E series phones are GSM phones capable of being fitted with AT&T SIM cards.

Instructions

1. Shut down the phone and disconnect the phone from the charger.

2. Remove the phone's back case by pressing the release button and sliding the cover down.

3. Remove the battery from the phone.

4. Insert the SIM card into the phone's SIM card slot. Ensure that the SIM card's contacts are facing downward and that the beveled corner of the SIM card is pointing toward the bottom of the phone.

5. Insert the battery. Ensure that the battery's contacts are correctly aligned with the phone's battery connectors.

6. Slide the back cover back on the phone and turn the phone on using the power button.
