Remove The Back Panel On A Mirage S8 Subwoofer

Use a hex key to remove the back panel.

The Mirage Omni S8 subwoofer packs a punch. This small, affordable subwoofer will amplify your favorite tunes and make you far less popular with the neighbors. All the Omni subwoofers come with a factory warranty which will be void if the unit is opened. Only attempt to remove the back cover if the warranty has expired and you are adept at electronic repairs. You can remove the panel in a matter of minutes.

Instructions

1. Unplug the Omni subwoofer and leave it unplugged for at least as minute before you proceed. There may be a residual charge in the capacitors in the electrical system of the subwoofer.

2. Turn the subwoofer around and locate the stainless steel panel on the back. The panel is held in place by 10 screws.

3. Use the hex key of the appropriate size to turn the screws in a counterclockwise direction. Remove the screws and place them in a safe place. Lift the back panel free from the subwoofer box.
