Nokia 6220 Specs

The Nokia 6220 Classic is a bar-style mobile phone that works on the 850, 900, 1,800 and 1,900 GSM frequencies. Since the phone uses GSM technology, you need to have a SIM card to use the phone. The 6220 was released in 2008 and has a basic keyboard. Despite its barebones look, the 6220 has various useful media and Internet features.


Screen and Battery


The 6220 Classic screen measures 2.2 inches diagonally and shows all images at a resolution of 240-by-320 pixels. The displays screen displays over 16 million different colors. The phone has a lithium ion battery with a capacity of 900 milliamp hours. The battery lasts up to three hours and 30 minutes of constant usage or 10 days and 10 hours on standby mode. The battery lasts 13 hours if just being used to play music.


System and Storage


The Nokia 6220 has 120 megabytes of internal storage and 128 megabytes of randome access memory (RAM) for virtual memory. The phone has a microSD slot, so you can expand storage up to a total of eight gigabytes. The phone stores all of your call records for the previous 30 days. These records include missed, received and dialed numbers. Since the phone has so much storage space, you can enter as many phone book contacts as you want with multiple numbers each.


Media


The 6220 has a 5.0-megapixel digital camera with an automatic focus so you don't end up with blurry photos. The maximum resolution for these photos is 2,592-by-1,944 pixels. The camera also uses Carl Zeiss optics and has a flash for dim lighting. The media player supports MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, AAC and M4A audio files. WMV, RV, MP4 and 3GP video files also run on the player. The 6220 also features a radio that will pick up local stations.


Other Specifications


The 6220 has a 369 MHz ARM 11 processor and runs on the Symbian 9.3 operating system. The phone works with Bluetooth 2.0, so you can register and name your device and then use it to share files or connect to a headset wirelessly. The phone has a TV output so you can watch videos from your phone on your television as well. Additionally, the 6220 supports A-GPS and uses Nokia Maps for navigation.
