Remove The Battery Cover From A Motorola Razr Phone

The Motorola RAZR, also known as the Motorola V3, is a slim, 3.35 oz. clamshell-style cellphone that features internal and external displays and a 4x zoom digital camera. The RAZR's rechargeable lithium-ion battery and SIM card are housed at the back of the phone under a thin battery cover that locks and unlocks via a simple latching system -- a bar attached to the battery release button locks underneath two hooks at the top of the battery compartment housing. Unlocking and removing the battery cover simply requires that you lower this bar.

Instructions

1. Flip close your Motorola RAZR.

2. Hold the phone with the back facing you.

3. Look for the silver-colored battery compartment cover release button located in the groove at the top of the cover near the hinge.

4. Place your fingernail in the groove on the button and your thumb on the cover.

5. Press in the button with your fingernail to lower the locking bar. While you have the button pressed in, pull back on the cover and lift it away from the phone.
