Hard Reset A Nokia 3250

A hard reset restores your phone to factory settings.

Resetting an electronic device is often used as a troubleshooting step to solve a problem or issue with a device. Two types of resets exist, including a soft reset and a hard reset. On a Nokia phone, when you perform a hard reset, you restore the phone's settings back to the original factory settings. Performing a hard reset should only be done if you can't find any other solution to your problem, because all of your data and settings will be permanently deleted.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Nokia 3250 by pressing the power button located at the top of the phone.

2. Type "#7370#" using the number keypad on your Nokia.

3. Enter your device code when prompted. If you never changed your device code, enter "12345"; this is the default code.
