Send "grandma" a picture of her new grandbaby.
Sharing photos is one of the easiest and most appreciated ways to keep in touch with family and friends. Even if your parents couldn't be there to witness the birth of their new grandchild, you can snap a photo of your pride and joy with your iPhone 3G and send it via MMS, commonly called "picture messaging."
Instructions
1. Make sure you have the latest iPhone software update by plugging in your phone to your computer via USB, and checking for the newest update in iTunes under the device "Summary" tab.
2. Take a picture using the camera function on your iPhone.
3. Open the text messaging application.
4. Press the "New Message" (+) icon on the top right corner, and choose someone to send your picture to.
5. Choose the "Add an Image" icon (it looks like a small camera), and your iPhone will ask if you want to take a picture or use an existing photo.
6. Browse your photos and choose the one you want to send.
7. Type your message below the picture and press "Send."
