Attach Bluetooth Headset To A Phone

Bluetooth headsets can easily be slipped over an ear.

Bluetooth headsets are used for hands-free communication. Though most mobile phones are equipped with a speakerphone, many phone users prefer the convenience of a headset. To use a Bluetooth headset with a mobile phone, the devices must be attached. Following setup, the headset can be used to answer and disconnect calls.

Instructions

1. Fully charge the Bluetooth headset, then turn it on using the "Power" button. Depending on the model of the headset, it should flash either blue or purple.

2. Press the "Menu" key on the phone, then select "Bluetooth." The "Bluetooth" folder might also be located in the "Tools" folder.

3. Select "Handsfree" or "Add New" depending on your phone model.

4. Select "Look for Devices." Wait for the phone to recognize the Bluetooth headset.

5. Enter the passcode for the Bluetooth headset on the phone's keypad. By default, the passcode for most headsets is "0000."

6. Press "OK" to confirm the pairing of the headset and the phone.
