Format Phone Memory On An N73 Nokia

The Nokia N73 is a smartphone primarily for multimedia users. It features an auto focus 3.2 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics. The N73 can also record video at 15 frames per second using the MPEG-4 format. Since it uses the Symbian 9.1 OS, you can install various applications in both the phone memory and removable memory. Format the phone memory if you wish to reset the phone to its factory settings in case you run into problems with other applications.

Instructions

1. Unlock your Nokia N73's keypad by pressing the left soft key found just above the green call button and then pressing the "*" or asterisk key. Skip this step if you previously unlocked your keypad as this button sequence will lock the keypad instead.

2. Press a series of five keys on your keypad following the sequence "*7370#" without quotes. Assume that you are dialing this as a number. The N73 should show a confirmation message right after you press the "#" key.

3. Read the Warnings section before proceeding and choose the "Yes" option from the confirmation message to tell the Nokia N73 to format the phone memory.
