The Apple iPod is one of the company's most popular MP3 players.
Thanks to the large storage capacities on most iPods, it's easily possible to store your entire music collection. If you want to transfer this music collection onto a device like an HP Mini, though, it can easily be done. Thanks to the internal construction on most iPods, copying your music collection over only requires some basic operating system manipulation.
Instructions
1. Use the iPod connection cable to connect the iPod to your HP Mini.
2. Open "My Computer."
3. Enable hidden folders by going to the window's "Tools" pull-down menu. Select "Folder Options" and click the "View" tab. Click the check box labeled "Show hidden files and folders." Press OK to save any changes.
4. Open the iPod's entry under the available devices in "My Computer."
5. Open the folder labeled "iPod_Control." Here, open up the folder labeled "Music" to gain access to your iPod's primary music storage area. The folders will all be labeled as some variation of "F00."
6. Use your mouse to drag all these "F"-labeled folders onto a separate folder on your HP Mini.
