Use A Bluetooth Earpiece To Make Phone Calls

Many Bluetooth earpieces are a single sided clip-on design.

Bluetooth earpieces are designed to allow hands-free talking and calling on cell phones and PDAs. Many devices including laptops, phones, and gaming systems recognize Bluetooth-equipped technology and can be used in conjunction with a Bluetooth earpiece. One of the main functions of the Bluetooth-equipped earpiece is the ability to not only answer, but make, outgoing phone calls.

Instructions

1. Make sure your earpiece is linked to your phone or PDA. Normally, a small blue light flashes on the phone and the earpiece to indicate that they are connected. Check the screen of the phone for the indicator icon representing the connection between the phone and your earpiece.

2. Scroll down to the number you are wanting to call and leave the number hilighted. Your Bluetooth earpiece has a "Call/Answer" button on the face of the microphone. Hit the "Call/Answer" button on your headset and wait for the call to be connected.

3. Use the voice activation feature on your headset to make a call if for some reason your phone does not register the call button. Simply say "Call (or Dial, depending on your phone model) So-and-So at Home/Work/Cell" into the earpiece's microphone and allow your phone to make the connection.
