How Do I Transfer Pictures From a Nokia 6555 to a Computer?


A Nokia 6555 is a multimedia cell phone that includes a built-in camera. With the camera, you can take shoot pictures no matter where you go. You can also upload the photos to your computer and create slide shows, add them to applications and share them with family and friends using social networks or email.


Instructions


1. Turn on your cell phone and press the "Menu" button. Select "Settings" and select "Connectivity." Select "USB Data Cable" and choose "Data Storage." This enables you to use your cell phone like a portable hard disk.


2. Connect your Nokia 6555 cell phone to the computer using the USB cable that comes with it and launch Windows Explorer by double-clicking "My Computer" on the desktop. You should see your cell phone's icon listed as a portable hard disk.


3. Double-click your cell phone's icon to launch it. Locate the "Media" folder double-click it. Locate the images folder and double-click it. You should see the photos currently on your cell phone.


4. Drag the photos from the images folder to the location you want to download them to on your computer. Alternatively, right-click the photos in the images folder and click "Copy." Right-click the folder or location you want to save the photos to and click "Paste."


5. Safely disconnect your Nokia 6555 cell phone from the computer when you finish uploading photos to your computer. To do so, click the "Safely eject hardware" icon located on the system tray next to the clock. A new hardware window opens. Click your cell phone's hard disk in the hardware window and click "Stop." When prompted, disconnect your cell phone from the computer.
