Pair A Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset With An Lg Rumor

The LG Rumor is a Bluetooth-capable phone with a slide-out keyboard. The Rumor is able to pair with most Bluetooth headsets, including the Motorola H700. The H700 has an ear clip and a microphone mounted on a boom that swings out. When the boom is closed, the headset is off. When it's open, the headset searches for paired devices. If it can't find one, it will start to search for a new device with which to pair.

Instructions

1. Turn off any other devices the H700 headset is paired with.

2. Swing the microphone boom on the H700 to the open position. The LED light will flash for several seconds, then turn solid purple.

3. Click on the "Menu OK" button on the Rumor, then select "Settings/Tools".

4. Click on "Bluetooth" then select "" and click on "Search." The phone will display a list of Bluetooth devices.

5. Select the Motorola H700 from the list, and click on the "Menu OK" button.

6. Type "0000" for the passkey and press "Menu OK" to complete the pairing process.
